NightFloat is designed to support workflow preparation, not patient record keeping. The product is built to avoid storing patient data by default.

What stays on your device
NightFloat stores recents, favorites, theme, and product preferences in your browser. Generated outputs stay on your device only when you explicitly turn on local saving. Session drafts are kept only while the browser session remains open.
What not to enter
Do not enter direct patient identifiers such as name, date of birth, medical record number, full address, phone number, or exact room number. Use shorthand and non-identifying details instead.
Analytics and launch tooling
NightFloat may collect non-clinical product analytics such as page visits, tool opens, copy actions, install events, and feedback clicks. These events are used to understand product usage and improve the app. Clinical content and patient-identifying text should never be included in analytics events.
We may use analytics vendors and Google Tag Manager to deliver those non-clinical product events. If analytics are enabled, they are configured for product telemetry, not patient record collection.
